Venn Farm Cottages is nestled on the outskirts of South Molton and surrounded by natural beauty. Outdoor activities for people of all ages and interests are accessible right outside your door.






When you stay in one of our cottages you are intitled to a FREE family day pass to both The Big Sheep and Exmoor Zoo.

Minimum of a weeks stay to claim your tickets, saving around £90 in entries.


We are within driving distance of beaches, lakes and many beauty spots.There are lots of places to go walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and much more. With many popular attractions such as The Tarka Line, The Valley of Rocks, Lorna Doone and the Dunkery Beacon you wont be short of things to see and do. 


The Tarr Steps

An ancient clapper bridge over the River Barle set in a delightful wooded valley. There is a large car park and toilets with a short walk down to the river. By the river you will find Tarr Farm which offers a range of food and drink to enjoy. The riverside s a great spot for a picnic and offers many lovely walks.

Exmoor National Park

The National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty which boasts some of the most stunning scenery. Explore the open moorland, deep wooded valleys, coastal cliffs and untouched villages. Why not adventure on a 4x4 off road safari or horseback?

The Grove Inn

Our Award winning local Pub in Kings Nympton. Offering excellent food and drink and only a short drive or for the more adventurous a walk across our footpath (approx 30 mins).

Lake Wimbleball

A fantastic lake offering an abundance of activities for the whole family, such as fishing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and more. With special events held thoroughout the year. A great day out!
